Long Live the Tribe of Fatherless Girls
by T Kira Madden
I find it difficult to rate memoirs since it’s someone’s life experiences so this is my sort of review!
Each chapter is a different experience of the author growing up, written in an essay format which I really enjoyed. The stories were heartbreaking and dark at times (if you’re considering reading this one definitely check the triggers).
I loved her writing style and the way she told her stories in the essay format. I sped through this book which I rarely do with memoirs and nonfiction.
