An exciting novel filled with romance and espionage during the start of the Cold War.

Overall a dark story of adolescent, trauma, and how the effects linger decades later.

A uniquely, wonderful novel that blew me away once I got past the different writing style.

I look forward to falling in love with more of Donoghue’s novels after this thought-provoking historical fiction.

I’ll be recommending this to everyone and rated it a full 5 stars!

An anticipated collection which fell flat for me

Overall it was interesting, I love Morrison’s writing, and was impressed since this was her first novel but I couldn’t engage with the characters in such a short book.

 I love a good dystopian novel and this one was right up my alley.

This novel was lyrical and held my attention the whole way through, highly recommend!
